The Scene
Housed in the former home of the Short North's top people-watching spot, K2U, the Burgundy Room easily capitalizes on its location's legacy. The decor has been updated with warmer, darker colors, circular booths and dim lighting. The new look is sublime and comforting.

The Food
The focus of the dining experience is pairing wines with tapas dishes; for a full meal, plan on ordering at least two or three menu items per person. Servers are extremely cheerful about helping diners navigate the experience. Some dishes are better for sharing than others, like the exceptional beef carpaccio with sage aioli or the Prince Edward Island mussels in white wine garlic broth. The tuna tartar with soy ginger dressing on wanton crisps is a light treat. For something a little more filling, try the homestyle meatloaf with sweet tomato fondue and shoestring potatoes.
